I describe my therapeutic style to be direct and engaging. My view is that we are walking on this journey of self-discovery together and this requires us to be open and honest in the safe space we are creating. I work from a place of non-judgment and often use humor and relevant culture/art. My approach is christian based and collaborative. It includes the lens of Cognitive Behavioral therapy, as well as aspects of the Attachment perspective and complex trauma. You can expect straightforward responses along with active engagement in each session. We will work together to refocus and create techniques for practical use.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Attorney. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capital Bible Seminary. I am also the author of the eBook, Prayer Care: 7 Stress Less Prayers During The COVID-19 Crisis.
My experiences are varied but my aim is to support you in defining your goals, removing obstacles and assisting you in refocusing your outlook to a healthier and happier life journey.
